H-FOSS Activities at Wesleyan

Fall 2008
Professor Danner offered COMP 342, a Software Development elective for CS majors. The course was taught at Wesleyan, Trinity, and Connecticut via our Mellon-funded videoconferencing facility. Students worked in teams to develop a visit-register module for OpenMRS. Such a module would provide and alternative workflow for entering patient information.
Summer 2008
Professors Danner and Krizanc, and students Eli Fox-Epstein '11, Qianqian Lin '11, and Juan-Pablo Mendoza '10 participated in the first H-FOSS Summer Institute at Trinity College. Eli worked on Sahana, while Qianqian and Juan-Pablo worked on a project for InSTEDD, mentored by Professor Krizanc. Professor Danner mentored two students from Trinity, who worked on projects in OpenMRS.
